“Banksters is a Web3 game that rewards players for understanding crypto market trends.”
That logline I wrote marked the beginning of my crypto journey with the project. Since then, I’ve been involved in almost every stage — from the first game presentation and community tournaments to the NFT and token launch. My main focus areas were community growth and content strategy (also often I produced content by myself - videos, texts and visuals). Let me walk you through this journey step by step...

Banksters
After the tech team finished the game, it was my turn to step in. Our goal was to present it at White Nights in Tel Aviv, so together with two designers, we built a booth and created the merch for the conference, also I created videos for a LED-screen and final report after the conference.

After the presentation, the real work began — building our first community from people we met at the conference and turning them into early adopters. It happened right during the World Cup, so we decided to mirror its format: same countries, same flags. Each player represented a whole nation and even carried a name inspired by it.
That’s how the first Banksters Closed Beta Championship was born — “Let’s see which country will rule the Banksters world.”
Winner? Reana Kor — you know which “country” that is.
The closed beta championship marked the start of the Open Beta Phase. Our community grew fast — from only a hundred members on Telegram to over 20,000 across Telegram, Discord, and Twitter. Now it was time to deliver real functionality, not just a demo: actual NFTs and tokens. Everything had to be presented clearly, so I created visuals and texts to showcase the full game economy.
NFT-sale
We launched our NFT sale on Magic Eden. To explain each rarity in detail, we created a full set of visuals, an eye-catching promo video, and a series of banners — both vertical and horizontal — for different social media platforms. Below are the key visuals from the campaign.
Airdrop and Token Sale
We used several platforms to launch the token sale. My role was to create all visuals — from the airdrop announcement to the token sale itself — including texts, designs, and motion graphics, both independently and in collaboration with a motion designer.
Listing
After a successful token sale, we listed $BARS on two platforms — that’s when Banksters truly emerged as a real play-to-earn game.
That’s when the project officially launched. But we faced a challenge — with 50,000 players, it was hard to explain how to play, since the game wasn’t exactly simple. To solve this, we launched a full cycle of educational videos and articles to teach players how to use all the features. Here are some of them:
And what about community management?
From the very first Closed Beta Championship, we kept our players — whom we proudly called Banksters — engaged with a variety of activities: livestream challenges, leaderboard contests, and Zealy and X campaigns.
My role was to design new formats, define contest rules, and create visuals — sometimes on my own, sometimes in collaboration with designers.
Content for socials
We regularly produced video content for social media — TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. We experimented with different formats, ranging from interviews on serious crypto topics to crypto jokes and memes.
That was an incredible project that gave me experience in both game development and the crypto sphere, revealed my ability to create diverse content, and helped me discover the power of community building.
